Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated 8 September 2026

How to stop paying, how to ask for your money back, and what happens to your access when you do.

The 14-day money-back guarantee

If you pay to join a community and it is not what you expected, ask us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. The guarantee applies to your first charge for a community; it is a promise we honour by hand, so it is granted by writing to us and not by a button in the product.

How to request a refund

Send an email to support@komunti.com from the address on your Komunti account, and tell us the name of the community and the date of the charge. That is everything we need — the invoice is already on your Billing page if you want to attach it.

What happens next

A person reads your request; we aim to reply within two business days. If we approve it, the money goes back to the card or payment method you paid with, and your bank typically shows it within five to ten business days. If that method can no longer receive money, we credit the amount to your Komunti balance instead and tell you we have done so.

What happens to your access

A full refund ends your membership of that community straight away: your access stops and returning later means joining again. A partial refund — where we return part of a charge as a goodwill adjustment — leaves your membership running as it was.

Renewals after the first charge

The guarantee covers the charge that started your membership, not every renewal that follows it. A renewal is announced by the date shown on your Billing page, and the way to avoid one is to cancel before it falls. If a renewal caught you by surprise, write to us anyway — we read every request and we would rather fix it than argue about it.

Cancelling instead of refunding

Open the community, go to Billing, and cancel. Renewals stop immediately; your access does not. You keep the community until the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and you can resume renewal from the same screen at any point before then. Cancelling never refunds the cycle you are currently in — if you want that money back, ask for a refund as well.

Free trials

Nothing is charged during a free trial, so there is nothing to refund. Cancel before the trial's last day and no payment is ever taken. If a trial converted and you did not want it to, the 14-day guarantee covers that first charge.

If a community is suspended or closed

When Komunti suspends a community, we stop billing its paying members from the end of their current cycle. You keep access for the cycle you already paid for. If a community is closed outright partway through a cycle you have paid for, write to us — we refund the part you did not receive.

One-off purchases

A purchase that is not a subscription — lifetime access, a single course, a downloadable file — is not covered by the 14-day guarantee, because there is no renewal to protect you from. You can still ask: we read every request and we do issue refunds where a purchase was faulty, misdescribed, or bought twice by mistake. A full refund of a one-off purchase removes access to what it bought.

When we say no

We can decline a request that is outside the window and has no other basis, or where the pattern shows the guarantee is being used to take a community's content and leave repeatedly. We will tell you which of the two it is, and why.

Before you call your bank

A chargeback ends your access to the community immediately and is slower for you than asking us. Write to support@komunti.com first — a refund we issue directly is usually settled long before a dispute would be.
