Child Safety Standards

Last updated 10 October 2026

Komunti has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out what is prohibited, how to report it, and what we do when we find it.

What is prohibited

Anything that sexually exploits or endangers children is banned everywhere on Komunti: child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn or AI-generated images; sexualising minors; grooming, or contacting a minor for a sexual purpose; sextortion; and trafficking or advertising children. This covers posts, comments, courses, events, profiles, chat and direct messages.

Who can use Komunti

Komunti is not intended for children. You must be old enough to agree to our Terms where you live, and never under thirteen. If we learn that an account belongs to a child, we close it.

How to report

Use Report on any post, comment or message, in the app or on the website, and block the member so they cannot contact you again. You can also write to support@komunti.com with "Child safety" in the subject. Do not download, screenshot or forward illegal images, even to report them; tell us where they are instead. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.

What we do

Reports of child sexual abuse or exploitation are reviewed before anything else. We remove the content, suspend or close the accounts involved, and preserve the evidence the law requires us to keep. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as US law requires, and we cooperate with law enforcement.

The law

Komu Inc. complies with the child safety laws that apply to it, including the US federal reporting obligation (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and with the child safety policies of the app stores that distribute Komunti.

Child safety contact

Our designated point of contact for child safety is support@komunti.com. Messages with "Child safety" in the subject are read by a person and handled first.
